Fireplace Surround Renovation & Built-In Shelf Repair

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project focused on updating an existing fireplace wall and built-in shelf area in a living room. The original fireplace surround and upper shelving section required repair, surface preparation, and finish work to create a cleaner and more polished focal point for the room.

The work included opening and repairing the upper built-in area, adjusting the shelf structure, preparing the surrounding wall surfaces, and refinishing the fireplace feature wall. Protective coverings were used around the work zone to keep the surrounding living area clean during renovation.
